Spall mitigation options available:

Spall Pad Covers consist of Ballistic Kevlar and 500D Cordura that slips over the armor plate. These are meant to add spall protection to our base coat option only.

Spall Build-up Coat consists of about 1/4" of Line-X Paxcon material on the front of the armor plate. Approximate thickness is 1/2" with the build up coat applied.

Great deal for a niche plate

This is the only place I could find a propper abdominal plate, and I managed to get two side plates with it for about 100$ total. The abdominal plate was a good deal already, but they let me add on the side plates for 15$ a piece. This is the best deal I've ever gotten on body armor, definitely 5 stars. It also shipped to me in less than a week, so that's nice too.
