Spall mitigation options available:

Spall Pad Covers consist of Ballistic Kevlar and 500D Cordura that slips over the armor plate. These are meant to add spall protection to our base coat option only.

Spall Build-up Coat consists of about 1/4" of Line-X Paxcon material on the front of the armor plate. Approximate thickness is 1/2" with the build up coat applied.

Level 3 plates

A 5 star rating isn't enough for these guys.. Bought a set of the level 3 plates, and I'm absolutely happy with my purchase. These guys are awesome. No BS lead times, and very fast shipping. Had to cut down my side plates to accommodate my carrier (my fault for ordering the wrong ones) so I took the piece I cut off to test it. 9mm did absolutely nothing and 5.56 green tip made a very small dent. I feel very safe knowing that I have Downrange Industires steel on my chest! Definitely going to do more business with them. I've already recommended a ton of people to buy this product!

excelence.

I ordered these w/ the trauma pads on a friday (1/22) and they arrived in literally 4 days (Tuesday the 26th) they (and the trauma pads) fit perfectly into my 5.11 TacTec plate carrier and are comfortable to wear. Honestly I can not say enough good things about these or this company. I am very pleased with speed of delivery and a price that I can't find better for what I got. 10/10 will do business with again and recommend to friends in the market.

Level 3 Swim/SAPI

Exactly what they save they are. God willing I’ll never actually need to put them to the ultimate test, but from what I can tell they are pretty damn amazing. Shipping was fast (4 days from order to arrival) and I will be ordering from here again in 15 years when I need to replace them due to age. Amazing product and priced to be affordable for the average person.
