Special Threat tested to defeat XM193 (5.56 x 45) 55 grain @ 3150 FPS and .308 @ 2780 fps

Base Coat is approximately 1/4" thick

Build-up Coat is approximately 1/2" thick and adds just under a lb per plate

Curved to accommodate natural angle of body

Fully encapsulated to protect against corrosion, chemicals and sweat.

Laser cut to ensure armor longevity and edge durability.
