Description

These Down Range Industries Spall Pad Covers are designed to mitigate spall/fragmentation when shot. They are made from Ballistic Kevlar and tough Cordura water resistant fabric. They slip over the top of the body armor plates and are then inserted into the plate carrier. Spall Pad Covers are made to order and typical lead times are 3-7 days. Please allow an additional 1-3 days for shipping.

Please note: Spall Pad Covers will not fit over our Paxcon Build-up Coated plates. These are meant to only upgrade our base coated plates for spall and bullet fragmentation protection.

We also offer these with a trauma pad option to put behind the spall pad cover and body armor plate to mitigate back face deformation.
