(2) AR500 Curved Body Armor Plates - 1 Standard SAPI Cut & 1 Advanced Swimmer Cut
Plate Sizes: 11" x 14"
SAPI Weight: Approximately 10.5 lbs / Advanced Swimmer Cut: Approximately 10 Lbs
Curved to accommodate natural angle of body.
Fully encapsulated base coat to protect against corrosion, sweat, etc.
Spall mitigation options available:
     Spall Pad Covers consist of Ballistic Kevlar and 500D Cordura that slips over the armor plate. These are meant to add spall protection to our base coat option only.
     Spall Build-up Coat consists of about 1/4" of Line-X Paxcon material on the front of the armor plate. Approximate thickness is 1/2" with the build up coat applied.

Laser cut to ensure armor longevity and edge durability. 
Rated for up to 6 hits from 7.62 x 51 (.308) @ 2780 fps (see 3rd party ballistic lab results)

Quality plates and great service!
Plates fit my carrier very well. Very comfortable and not as heavy as I expected. I have been sending all of my people to downrange industries for their plates! Everyone else is out of stock with incredible lead times. Thanks again for the great customer service

Absolutely amazing product and professional quality service. Fast shipping and I’ll tell ya, these are worth every penny! I’m actually not a big guy and the 8lbs isn’t really a hassle, if you’re not wearing these for long period of time. As in 8hrs plus time frame, the weight might be an issue but I personally have no problem with it actually. I originally thought it would weigh more but nope. They’re heavy duty but not overly heavy you can’t lift with one arm! Save your money and make an investment worthwhile.

First and foremost, the level of customer service I received from Down Range Industries was absolutely top notch. My order arrived within 3 days, packaged well, and exactly as described. These are heavy plates, appear to be very well coated, and fit well in the VISM Expert carrier. I'm 6'5" so the 11"x14" was perfect for me.
