Special Threat tested to defeat XM193 (5.56 x 45) 55 grain @ 3150 FPS and .308 @ 2780 fps
SAPI Weight: Approximately 5.5 lbs each
Curved to accommodate natural angle of body.
Fully encapsulated base coat to protect against corrosion, sweat, etc.
Spall mitigation options available:
     Spall Build-up Coat consists of about 1/4" of Line-X Paxcon material on the front of the armor plate. Approximate thickness is 1/2" with the build up coat applied.

Great price for great product
I shopped long and hard before ordering these. Comparing prices and what you got for your money from many retailers selling plates. These guys offered the best price I could find for 3+ plates with multi curves included in the price. When I got them, I was impressed with the construction, the weight is nice and light for a metal plate since they are AR600 steel, which is thinner and stronger then AR500 steel plates. Love the cut as it gives me lots of freedom of movement when I have them on. But still cover the important areas of my body.
